What it means when we say our products are for research use only, and what you are confirming when you buy from us. This page applies to every product on the site, every order, and every message we send.

Laboratory research only
Every product listed on this website is sold solely for laboratory and in-vitro research. That is the only purpose for which EVOLVD supplies them, and it is the only purpose a customer may buy them for.
In-vitro means research carried out outside a living organism — in a laboratory setting, on cells, tissues or reagents. Nothing we sell is supplied for use in or on a living person or animal.
Not for human or veterinary use
Our products are not for human consumption or human use of any kind, and they are not for veterinary use. They are not food, cosmetics, supplements or medicines, and they are not manufactured, tested or labelled as any of those things.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition in humans or animals, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise.
No medical or usage advice
Nothing on this website, in our emails, in our product listings or in any reply from us is medical, health, safety or usage advice. Product names, specifications and test documentation are provided so that a researcher can identify what they are buying, and for no other reason.
We do not describe how any material is prepared, handled, stored after delivery, applied or combined, and we do not describe effects or outcomes. Questions of that kind will not be answered. If a reply from us could be read as advice, it was not intended as such and must not be relied on.
What you confirm when you buy
By entering this site and by placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age; that you are purchasing for laboratory research purposes only; that you are a qualified researcher, or are purchasing on behalf of a laboratory, institution or business engaged in research; and that you have the knowledge, facilities and equipment to handle research materials safely and lawfully.
You accept sole responsibility for how the products are used, stored and disposed of after they are delivered, and for complying with every law that applies to your research and your location.
Orders we will refuse
We may refuse or cancel any order, without giving a reason, where anything in an enquiry, a message or the order itself suggests that the products are intended for a person or an animal, or for any purpose other than laboratory research. Where an order is cancelled on that basis and payment has already cleared, it is returned in full.
Product information
Product listings, specifications and documentation are provided for identification and are believed to be accurate at the time of publication. Product images are representative; the appearance of an item or its packaging may differ. We may correct errors in a listing at any time, including after an order has been placed but before it is accepted.
Your rights under Australian law
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. This disclaimer is to be read together with our terms and conditions and our refund policy, which say how those rights are honoured.
